Job purpose 

Provide management with the results of the economic and financial analyses required for the operational and strategic management of the company or division to which you report. Support the operational manager in managing financial activities and decision-making.

Description of significant activities

 

  • Contribute to building and coordinating the operational budgeting process (drawing up, implementing and monitoring the three-year plan, improving related existing processes and tools, supporting corrective action plans, communicating with operational entities...)
  • Manage operational financial reporting (monitoring of actual results, accounting closures, analyses and recommendations, dynamic updating of 12-month projections, adjustments, communication, etc.).  
  • Optimize financial reporting (diagnosis, recommendations on changes, structuring, standardization, convergence, relevance of indicators, etc.).
  • Participate in the development of long-term strategic plans
  • Accompany changes at group level (ERP changes, cost and margin evaluation methods, valuation of work-in-progress, return on investment, etc.).
  • Manage industrial capacity expansion investment programs
  • Cooperate with teams at other X-FAB sites in Europe, Asia and the USA

 

Profile 

  • Financial expertise: general accounting, cost accounting, financial risk analysis, taxation, auditing, accounting and administrative management, economic and financial management, budgeting techniques, project management
  • IT: information management techniques (ERP, Excel, VBA, etc.) 
  • Language: fluent English (B2 minimum)
