Who we are

We are passionate about making chips that bring value to people’s lives. We manufacture semiconductor devices that help to save lives, connect people and drive cleaner transportation. At X-FAB, it is all about those round and shiny things, the wafers we manufacture in cleanrooms at our six productions sites, so-called fabs, around the globe.

Starting a new job is a huge step. There are so many new faces to remember and so much to learn. Listening to new colleagues may sometimes feel like they are speaking a completely different language because of the technical jargon they use, let alone all those acronyms. We know that it can be tough to settle into a new job. Typically, when you apply for a new position, you have some idea of what you might be doing, but it is hard to imagine what your new work life will really be like. That is why we want to give you the opportunity to get to know some of our colleagues on this website.

On this page and the following you will meet people from different X-FAB locations, with diverse backgrounds and skills, working in various departments of the company. All of them are real people with authentic stories, talking about their jobs. With this, we want to give you some insights into the actual tasks and also the company culture that we live at X-FAB.
