Our more than 4,000 employees are based all over the globe – with six manufacturing sites on three continents, it is quite likely that there is an X-FAB site close to where you are living. Besides the large production locations in Malaysia, Germany, France and the US, there are also a number of smaller R&D and sales offices in Asia, Europe and North America. Corbeil-Essonnes, close to Paris
Whether you choose to live in Corbeil-Essonnes, Fontainebleau or Paris you will find an ideal place to settle down, either close to the nature or as a city lover.
The X-FAB France site is situated 35 km (21 miles) south of Paris. It is equally situated on 2 towns, Corbeil-Essonnes and Le Coudray-Montceaux which also divides the countryside and the start of the Parisian urban area.
Dresden, capital of Saxony
The capital city of the Free State of Saxony is one of Germany's most famous and beautiful cities. Situated in southeast Germany in the heart of the picturesque Elbe valley, it is about 200 km south of Berlin and 150 km northeast of the Czech capital of Prague. Baroque Dresden is fondly referred to as the "Florence of the Elbe" by locals and tourists alike.
Erfurt, capital of Thuringia
Erfurt, the capital of the free state of Thuringia, is located right in the heart of Germany, which gives it its favorable location for transport and travel. Erfurt is also in the immediate vicinity of famous towns and cities such as Weimar, Jena and Eisenach. With more than 200,000 inhabitants, Erfurt is once again rapidly developing into a university city with great flair and character.
Itzehoe, close to Hamburg
Itzehoe is situated in the south-west of Schleswig Holstein, about 60 km north-west of Hamburg. The origins of the town go back to the 12th century, but nowadays it becomes a hotspot at least once per year when thousands of heavy metal fans are traveling through on their way to the close-by Wacken, home to "Wacken Open Air" - the world's biggest open air heavy metal festival.
Kuching, the capital city of Sarawak
Malaysia's largest state situated on the island of Borneo. A modern metropolitan city cloaked with romantic colonial charm. Kuching extends its warm hospitality and captivates guests to enjoy a relaxed and affordable lifestyle. Blessed with rich natural resources, Sarawak is fortunate to have clean air and ample electricity supply.
Lubbock, Texas
Known for its big sky and brilliant sunsets, Lubbock has a mild, breezy semi-arid climate with cool nights, warm days and low humidity. Additionally, Lubbock ranks eleventh in Texas as the least expensive city and has a cost of living index 10% below the national average.

At X-FAB Texas we offer flexible schedules and working hours where applicable. Manufacturing employees work a standard compressed shift and have three days off one week and four days off the next. We offer 9 paid holidays per year and a minimum of three weeks annually for vacation and sick days.
