Process Development Engineer (OPTO)
At X-FAB Sarawak we are currently looking for a Process Development Engineer (OPTO)

Job Summary:
X-FAB is looking for a development engineer to join our Process Development Opto team, based in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, but working as part of an international organisation developing mixed signal CMOS technologies.

•    Process development activities for mixed signal CMOS process with a focus on Opto devices (Photodiodes, CMOS image
        sensors, SPAD etc.)
•    Define semiconductor process flows and device architectures.
•    Define, implementation and evaluation of experiments, using method of design of experiments (DoE).
•    Development and design of test structures.
•    Offer technical support to customers & Management of development projects, working in interdisciplinary and international teams.
 

•    Qualification: Bachelor Degree / Master of Engineering in Physics, Microelectronics, Material Science or equivalent

•    Good organizing abilities such as planning, organizing and coordinating

Technical/ Functional Competencies
•    Good understanding of Semiconductor device physics.
•    Knowledge or experience to function, fabrication and characterisation of semiconductor devices.  
•    Good technical report writing skill & Experience in project work.
•    Trained in the formal use of Design-of-Experiments and statistical techniques.
•    Experience in Layout and TCAD would be advantageous.
